Information for Transfer Students

Admission Requirements

Priority admission requires completion of coursework that articulates to CRJU 101 (Introduction to Criminal Justice) and CRJU 210 (Concepts of Criminal Law), with a grade of C- or better. An associate degree for transfer in criminal justice normally satisfies both.

Applicants who have not met this requirement will be placed on a waitlist and considered for admission based on space availability.

Use ASSIST.org to check whether your community college courses transfer to CSUF.

Transfer Planning Matrices

These planning matrices lay out a semester-by-semester path to graduation based on your timeline. Both assume the criminal justice major as it appears in the 2026–2027 catalog.
